Zijin Mining to take 9.9% stake in Montage Gold
As part of the deal, the Lundin Family Trust also agreed increase its stake in the company from 17.7% to 19.9%.
Explosives and mining services company AEL Mining Services has been awarded the blasting contract to deepen Gold Fields’ South Deep gold mine’s ventilation shaft. AEL will use its electronic initiating system to deepen the vent shaft to the same depth as the main shaft, which is about 3 000 m below surface. Read more
